The magnificent Cheong Fatt Tze mansion was built in the 1880s. Cheong was a merchant trader who left China as a penniless youth and found his fortune in Malaysia. His abode was built on a ‘dragon’s throne’ chosen for its excellent feng shui, with a mountain (Penang Hill) behind it and water (the Straits of Malacca) in front. The Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion combines Eastern and Western designs, with louvred windows and Art Nouveau stained glass.
This pop up piece comes with ready made die cut and display base included. No cutting is required. Perfect for anyone who has a knack for arts and crafts and appreciation for nostalgia.
